Application Pending...
OH GOD i'm so nervous with anticipation. We have put in our applications for a 3 bedroom townhouse in Paddington today and will hopefully be hearing back by tomorrow!
ARGH!
Dan, Lisa and I are all so keen for this place. Its got a pool, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies and outdoor area. It comes with a dryer and dishwasher, its got a lock up garage that can hold 2 cars easily PLUS room for storage. Its 3 levels, well kind of 4 - with entry and garage on the bottom; then balcony, lounge room, dining room, kitchen, laundry and back patio on the next level; then 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and another balcony on the next level above that and finally a 3rd bedroom up the top!
its got great carpet all the way through, tiled in the kitchen and bathrooms of course. A fairly modern kitchen, huge bedrooms with even huger inbuilt cupboards.
And its in the nice, inner-city suburb of Paddington and is less than 100 metres from the Paddington Central which has a huge supermarket, bottle shop, bakery, butcher, newsagent, and shitloads of cafes and restaurants. In fact the whole main street in Paddington is littered with clothing stores and cafes and restaurants and eateries.
The bus from the city takes less than 10 minutes when the traffic is good, and drops off right outside of Paddington Central, which I say again, is less than 100 metres from the townhouse!!!!!!
There's only 2 other groups of applicants, and we have hopefully have the advantage of being able to move in very very soon.... in fact we put down next friday as the day we would like to take over the new lease, which means if we get it we will be moving NEXT weekend!
I am soooo nervous waiting to hear back from the real estate.... hopefully by tomorrow. Wish us luck!
