wow! i just keep getting cooler and cooler. first i'm dancing on bar tops at swanky clubs, now my photos are appearing on cool rock stars websites!!!! that's right, go to the photos section of laura imbrulgia's website and the first photo you see........come on, go!!!!!! ok see it? now click on it.... and read the text! that's right "PHOTO BY RHIANNON" oh yea, i'm soooooo farkin kewl! *does the "i'm so rockin" cool dance* everyone should go to laura's site, coz 1) she was really really funny, and 2), if enough hits get sent her way maybe it'll show up in her referrers. the other day, i was checking my referrers and i got a few hits from the cat empire's stats page..... heh. if only i had enough viewers (like chelle or asa) and could convince my favourite night clubs to give me VIP membership, in return for talking/advertising their club :D
anyway, today has been quite uneventful except for one thing- i agreed to do this feedback plus survey thing..... its a smokers survey (yes i know i'm gross and filthy). anyway, i scored 4 pouches of rolling tobacco (i smoke roll-your-own cigarettes, so this is a good thing), and after completing the survey after a week of smoking the tobacco i get paid $60!!!!! SCORE!!!!! "Hey Tick, FREEEEEEE MONEY!!!!"
unfortunately, the pouches are all unmarked, and only ONE pouch is the brand i smoke, Drum Ultra Mild (lowest milligram amount)..... the others are Drum Extra Mild, Winfield Gold and Champion Ruby- i'm scared to try the Champion Ruby- i'm so scared of that brand of tobacco. In my mind it is, and always will be, old man tobacco.
i wandered back thru the city on my way home, and spent $40 on accessories i didn't really need. but i got a pink and white sweatband, fluro pink, yellow and blue bangles, fluro pink and blue dangly earrings, a sequin belt thing, & a pink and white halter. lots of pink :D yay! now i'm clanking and rattling because of all the plastic bangles. BUT, this is exactly why i hate going to the city. as soon as i'm there, i'm distracted by all the pretty, shiny things and i ALWAYS end up buying shit i dont need with money i dont have. i did go thru the perfume section of Myers and spritzed myself with Dolche &Gabbana- my favourite, but much too expensive, perfume. mmmmm *sniffs herself again*

back from a night out for rachel's birthday. we had a great picnic today- i ate sooo much- then had drinks at her house and then we went to the monastry for the flirt party (yay for 2-3-1 drinks). anyway its 1.30am (quite an early night but that's ok coz i've been tired and hungover all day) but i just wanted to share something with you. my god, i am soooo cool/skanky, i was dancing on the bar!!!!! heheheheh how awesome. i saw these girls on the bar dancing away and i was like "damnit i want to dance on the bar too!!!!" so i went up, grabbed one girls leg and said "oy, how did you get to dance on the bar?" and she was like "oh we know the owner, jump up and join us!"..... so i did!!! hahah i'm such a skank!!
the girls jumped down after 10 minutes or so, and they said
they were just getting a drink and they'd be back. BUT they never came
back. i danced for another 10 minutes all by myself. i was so worried
i'd get dizzy or something and fall backwards. hahahha but i was ok. man,
it was great tho!!! i got a flirt message from one of the bar guys- it
said "see me at the bar" from "ryan the bar guy" and
he left his number. i sent one back but it was busy and he couldn't leave
the bar. too bad, coz my message was " free drinks and i'm all yours.
hahahah!" anyway, it got to 5 minutes to midnight... and i knew that
2-4-1 drinks finished at 12..... so i went up the bar to get my last drinks.
i went to the end that ryan the bar was working at..... i stood there...
he saw me, and continued to serve EVERYONE BUT me... i was getting so
mad... finally i moved down the bar and carlos served me straight away.
i explained that i had gotten a message from ryan, came to order my drink
off him, and had been standing there for over 5 minutes without being
served.... anyway, i damn well wanted my 2-4-1 drinks even tho it was
a few minutes past midnight.... i mean, damnit, i had been there well
and truly before middnight... anyway, carlos told me that after middnight
the registers got changed over, so he couldn't do it for me.... i was
so peeved off. i paid full price for my drinks, and then grabbed a message
paper, and wrote a very pissed off message to 'ryan the bar guy'.... and
then gave it to carlos to give to ryan. hahahahh i'm such a bitch. but
damnit, i shoudl have gotten 2-4-1 drinks if ryan hadn't been such a chicken
shit and refused to serve me. what a cunt. anyway that's my night. i'm
now drunk and dizzy, going to have one last cigarette and then pass out.

oooh i'm a naughty, naughty ebay bidder. i got too excited and bid on too many shoes. converse all stars in fact. i loooooove cons. i used to own black high tops in grade 8. me and veronica thought we were soooo coool. but alas, i began to think they were uncool in grade 10, and i had grown out of them, so *toss* into the bin with you laddy!
now, they are cool again and i want them. i want them all!!!! high tops,
low tops, really really high tops that button down..... the whole range
of colours!!!! the hunt for cheap con's took place in the land of digital
auctions- EBAY! for some bizarro reason, i thought wanky stores like general
pants, and universal
were charging a fortune for the newly-back-in-fashion converse. so i bid
on what i thought were kerazy ebay bargins. however, when i was in town
buying a certain someone
her birthday present, i went into general pants and tried on a bunch of
shoes.... they are selling for about $70 i think. not as much as i thought.
i also realized then, that converse sizing is very different. i'm a size
5 in con's, when i'm usually a size 7. i had already bid on a pair of
blue and red high tops that were a size 7, which i then realized were
not going to fit at all.
anyway, while i've been writing this, i've contacted the seller and had
my bid cancelled. PHEW!!!!! but the other pair..... meh, i'm just going
to have to bite the bullet and waste the last of my paypal money. its
still a bargin- $30 USD for pink high tops, which is only $42 dollars
australian (the aussie dollar is so strong at the moment, perfect time
to go on a trip to the USA... except i have no money- BAH!)
last night was lotsa fun. the drinking started at 5pm with cocktails
@ aroma's. it was prom night for one of the schools so we sat and watched
them all arrive in their cool cars, and their pretty dresses. it was pretty
tame tho. i remember seeing prom people arrive this time last year and
there were crazy outfits and horse & carriage arrivals.
we then migrated home, i stopped off for a quick shower and change of
clothes and then it was drinks at rach's and we watched a movie, etc etc....
then steve and i were off to the Nash
Theatre for ..... "ZOMBIE ATTACK!"- a late night, B-grade
horror play. Jane (long time best bud, who i dont see often enough these
days) was in it. and man! it was hilarious! the jokes were lame, the acting
was over the top, the sound effects were pathetic, the special effects
were laughable and the heckling from the audience was piss funny! i tagged
along with the cast for drinks afterwards and a bunch of us partied on
til 4am. i promised jane i'd come and be a guest zombie another night!
and i'm definately going to audition for the next late night Gnash!!!!!!
actually chatting to jane, about the plays she's in, the courses she's trying out for, the auditions and the madness, has made me miss acting something fierce. i'm going to tag along with Jane to the audition for 'Blurred'- a play about schoolies week, that was turned into a movie a few years ago. i got mum to send me down the script from "Letters from the Inside", which i performed many times during drama exams and eisteddfods in grade 12, and i'm going to pull a 1-2 minute monologue from that for the auditions.
muntedmess new layout update: its green.... hehe i've got the design down, i just need to work out the colour scheme, finalise graphics etc. when i make a new layout i like it to be completely different to the previous layout..... i was going with some pinks but then it ended up too sickly pink.... its now greens, but i'm not what you'll think of it... HOWEVER, i have been well known for using bright colours that give migraines or make you want to vomit, so perhaps the green will fit in perfectly with my style. thoughts?

i'm so vain, i'm sure i think the song is about me!!!!! hehe. checking out the Team's website, i noticed i appeared in a handful of the photos from their cd launch back in october.... i miss my red hair looking at all these pics.
i'm getting my underwear written on in the main photo hahah. check out kirsty's outfit! that's right, she's wearing nothing but duct tape on her boobies!!!!! kraziness!!!! i dont konw how she does it with such confidence- i'm be so self conscious of my boobs jiggly around for everyone to see. the Team are playing tonight at ric's, so me and rach might pop on over and check them out when we're out tonight.
fake tan update: today is the second day i've applied fake tan. its a l'oreal pump spray- makes application so much easier.... i smell a bit funny, but i'm slowly turning a nice crispy brown colour- without the cancer!!!!! fake tan always has a bit of a funky smell, that lingers for ages after applying it. when i get around to it, i'm going to have a couple of solarium session just to get myself a bit darker, and then use the fake tan to just maintain that healthy glow. heh. i know, i know... yet another example of complete and utter vanity. but seriously, you should see my legs- ergh nasty and pale.
muntedmess needs a new layout so badly.... i'm going to totally redo it sometime soon. just need some inspiration....... HELLO? INSPIRATION, ARE YOU OUT THERE? damnit... where is a troll in my closet when i need one?

the weekends half over and i've done nothing interesting. going to work tonight- some nice people better come in and tip me big. i'm so broke right now, and with christmas quickly approaching, i'm going to be royally screwed if i dont get some money saved. shit its neearly december. i just remember i had volunteered to help out during SOOB (straight out of brisbane festival)... i am never involved in anything cultural- arts festivals and shit, always fly right past me. its not til they are on, i think "damn it would have been cool to do something, be part of it". so this year, god damnit, i'm going to get involved.

which totally doesn't make sense coz for most of the year it is too friggin
hot to be wearing all black, leather, pvc, boots etc. and forget about
trenchcoats- you'll be passing out after 5 minutes in the queensland summer.
i can just imagine mixing goth fashion with good ol' aussie fashion. lace
up, knee length thong boots... thongs at the bottom, but with the look
of lace up boots on top...

hehe, ahhh if only i could sew. stil i'll be interested in going along to alot of these events and seeing what is submitted.
40 days til christmas- the plans so far are for mum and briony to come down to brisbane on christmas eve. have a quiet christmas day, maybe pack a lunch and go down to new farm park and have a picnic. oooh maybe i'll buy a frisbee and we can do all the nice hot summer day things. and then boxing day- we'll be up early for the all the massive sales at myers etc. yay!

yay another collage. ok i felt so sick all day (yesterday). i was bed/couch ridden all day. on the verge of vomitting all day. i wanted to sit on the computer and relive my boredom, but sitting or standing made me sick. the only way i could be semi-ok was to be laying down, curled up in fetal position..... by 8pm, i dragged my stinky ass into the shower and decided to go along the the gig.... hollardores playing at the healer..... i'm glad i did. it was an awesome gig. the boys had 3 support acts- one being, chick flick- this all girl 80's glam rock group. man, they were so awesome. they did a killer cover of 'sweet child of mine'. i've got some video footage of the night, but i need to work out hosting for it first. but i'll let you konw when i put it up. anyway, for photos of the night, go to the hollardores.com and check under gallery.

we had an awesome night last night..... involving steak, ribs, gelati, bad karaoke.... oh yea
In typical geek fashion, the evening was organised over
the net. we were planning a mini meet for some of the brisbanelife
forum members. the night started with dinner at the Norman
Hotel - known as "Brisbane's worst vegetarian restaurant".
heheh. we all sat around getting to know each other, and then our meals
arrived. HOLY SHIT! so much meat! we tortured luis, who is a vegetarian
and had tagged along for the social side of the night. check out the photos
for funny 'before and after' shots. anyway we made complete pigs of ourselves,
and had a blast. and just when you think you couldn't eat anymore, we
decided to head to the valley for Gelati.
many stomach cramps later, we walked into Dooleys, where there was so
BAD karaoke happening. we thought it would be pretty funny. Everyone there
was really old, and singing really bad country songs, or horrible ballads.
Since steve is an old hat at karaoke, we thought we'd show everyone up,
and show off in front of our new friends- woohoo people who HAVEN'T seen
steve do karaoke. hahahha. i even ended up singing beatles songs with
sylvia. i was down to do "I will survive"- but these fat, old
women beat us to it.... and they did a NASTY job at it. oh well there's
always next week.
we probably will be returning- as steve won a $50 bar tab hahahahha.

i'm all pms'ing and getting all sad and sniffy reminiscing about stuff. i made a batch of popcorn, and covered it in sweet chilli sauce, bbq sauce and chicken salt and ate it for breakfast with a spoon. it reminded me of all the great times in our old house, living with rachel. *sigh* awwwwww. i think i need some quality time with my girl-friends. painting nails, drinking rumba, watching movies, listening to cheesy music.
ps- i found the toenail clippers when i cleaned my room. they were under a pile of clothes. i finally cut my toenails and now i no longer scratch myself when im rubbing my feet together in bed.

i can't find the toenail clippers anywhere!!!! i have torn my bathroom upside down and they are NOT in there. argh! my toenails are really bothering me,.i can't stand when they get long. and my little toe is really little and gimpy and the toenail is really tiny and it grows at a funny angle, and it really bothers me when its not really really short. when i paint my toenails, half the time i just kinda paint where i think my little toenail should be..... its so tiny and when i cut it really short, it practically disappears.
last night at work was hell- melbourne cup day celebrations. it was sooooo busy! but i made good tips. and someone forged my signature on the roster, i swear!!! when i checked the roster on monday night, i was not working wednesday nite (tonight)..... but last night, an extra shift just magically appeared and my signature was on the roster..... bah! i'm so in the mood to just sit on the couch and veg out all night. rach and i went for a walk this arvo and i'mkinda tired, just ate a big dinner, and now i'm just feeling full, sick, tired... so not in the mood to work. its just cigar bar tho.... i dont know why they've decided to open cigar bar. it usually isn't..... ergh. oooh and i scored a Gucci purse from my boss last night. he gave heaps of them out to most of us barstaff. how awesome. however its a bit big for my liking, and i dont really give a shit about designer brands. so i'm thinkingof selling it on ebay or something. hahahahh how scabby am i?

gah! ok the videos aren't working at the moment as most people probabbly
realize. unless you downloaded them soon after i posted, you won't be
able to see them. someone had kindly offered me extra server space (my
host had always asked if i could keep videos to a minimum....) anyway,
i didn't know how many visitors i would get, or how much bandwidth it
would use..... however, i got an email last night (while i was asleep)
"the machine served 304 requests within 3 hours!!!!! That
means that my free amount of transfer which is 50 GB would be killed
within 2 days :-(

well well well, important things first. new videos and photos are up, documenting the horribly messy night on friday night (otherwise known as halloween). ergh too much fun was had that evening. please enjoy a couple of videos of jane and i prancing around like losers, whipping each other, boobs etc. actually the videos are just mostly of jane. but she is entertaining, so its all good.
anywho, friday night was a ball. everyone had great costumes (as you
can see in the photos). my costume, Stripperella, was a hit, and fun to
wear! it was bloody hot, so minimal clothing please! we got home very
very late, and i think i was a bit drunk when i woke up at 11:30am. my
dad had driven down to brisbane, and we were going to my cousin's wedding.
i managed to scrub up ok, despite feeling uber seedy, and off to the wedding
we went. ann looked beautiful as always, it was a really nice ceremony-
very traditional, and christian- reception was great. catching up with
all my relatives (on dad's side) is always a fun event. there are just
so many of them. i'm down the bottom of the list of cousins, one of the
younger ones. most of them are in their 20's or 30's now..... nearly everyone
is married and having kids.... now ann is married... i think next in line
is scott (who's a year older than me), and then me!!!! i kept telling
everyone not to hold their breath, i dont think there's going to be another
wedding for a while.
shannon, who is 4 years younger than i am, is quickly taking over my role
as the resident alcoholic in the group!!! at Kim's wedding in 1997 (kim
is the older sister of ann), i got really really drunk, and ended up being
sick in the carpark..... this time, at Ann's wedding i was well behaved,
however shannon was making friends with the champagne very quickly. the
hangover was fading but i still couldn't stomach drinking more than a
few glasses of champagne.
the evening ended about 9pm, dad and i drove home, had an early night.... we went for a late breakfast up the road, did the groceries, and then he hit the road, back to bundy. and now its sunday afternoon, i'm contemplating going down to lars and dani's house for a bbq, or just sitting on the couch and enjoying sunday night tv. or i could start to look for jobs.... ergh!!!! i've been told that most of the jobs that i would be after aren't advertised publicly, rather they are advertised in house. so how the fuck am i spose to find them? ergh!!!! everything asks for min. 2years experience, blah blah blah.
