awww man, i had written the longest post and then i friggin lost it! WHY ISNT THERE A RECOVER BUTTON?!?!?! gah i hate when that happens. shit i dont even know what i had said. i rambled on about work (still enjoying it- this was my first week by myself and everythign went well), about last friday nite (with the flavoured tobacco, the sweltering heat), and last night, (the fun, the dancing, the walking adventures). blah blah blah. altho i went to bed at 2am i woke up at 8am... damn this early morning routine i've gotten into . i want to sleep in!!!! anyway, i'm too tired now to re-write the post out again. but i will try to get on later and write something. til then, just go check out the photos!

omg i did something i never thought i'd ever do! i download IRC....hahahha i never wanted to have it on my computer while i was at uni. i didn't need ANOTHER distraction from assignments etc. however, i dont know... i was just sitting here, feeling a bit bored and thought. you know what? i feel like chatting. chatting with people who dont know me, dont know my site. i made up a non-muntedmess related nickname and had a bit of a chat. i didn't really know how to use it at first, but i've sort of figured it out. thanks to elle and her irc addiction, i know of #brisbane and #trivia chat, but that's about it. so if anyone who reads my site, is a bit of a irc geek too, please email me or leave a comment. point me in the direction of some good channels.

bloody typical. as soon as i stop blogging and rarely get on cam, i get nominated for an award in the Cammies (an online, publicly-chosen type of award)

i would say "VOTE FOR ME!" but i've been a bad little camsite lately, haven't i? well vote for asa then. the funny thing is, out of the 4 other finalist for the Best Australian Camsite award, i only know two. asa and kitta (and i dont really know kitta) the others- never heard of them. does that show how small and pathetic the australian camsite scene is? or just prove how OUT OF THE LOOP i am. 2001 was my prime- Survivorcam, Chickenlegs. i was hip and cool with all the popular camgirls. what happened? there's just too bloody many now, and the who's who of camsites keeps changing (except for nay as the reigning queen)

anyway, the job is still sweet, but its really keeping me busy. when i get home of an evening, i'm never in the mood to do anything but sit on the couch and zone out. i'm living the cliche! woot! did everyone see my 'work cam' pic? heheh one of the guys at work has a nifty cam phone ( i sooo want one now). i was really surprised at the quality of the pictures.

ok blah blah , i'll post more soon, i PROMISE! tonight (friday! wheeeee!) i think elle and i are going out and getting truly farked up :D yay!
oh yea, on tuesday night i officially graduated from university!!!!! congratulations me!

woohooo i looked hot last nite! i had bought a new dress on friday night when i was a bit drunk, so i wasn't sure how great it was going to be! but it turned out all fabulous!!!! and my night was pretty kickass as well.

i made it through my first week of REAL work. so i definately needed to celebrate! i caught up with rach, sharna, luis, chris and jess on friday arvo for cocktails at aroma's... mmmm lsd's! they were so god damn tasty, and it only wetted my appetite for more tasty beverages. everyone else left and i went and met up with steve after work and we drank free pints of beer! (ok so its not really tasty, but its wet and alcoholic!) i guess i got a bit carried away, plus i hadn't eaten anything since lunch time, so when we ended up at lars and dani's house about 10.30 and they fed me some red wine, i ended up passing out on the couch! eventually, we got a cab and steve carried me home.

woke up sunday quite early, altho i really wanted to sleep in! i mean, i slept til 8.30am, which is a sleep in compared to my regular wake up time of 6.30am, but not a sleep in compared to the old days. (1pm is a bloody sleep in, i tell ya!)
felt a bit seedy, but that was cured by shopping and frappachino's with elle, amy and jax (girls who i used to work with at the club).

then elle and i finally made good usuage of our VIP membership at no.12, however i couldn't find James (the guy who had organised it)... oh well, next time! we actually ended up in the city (shock horror! i haven't been out in the city in AGES!!!) and we went to Fridays, coz elle's flatmate, tina, works there now. and it actually wasn't too bad! it was pretty quite coz there was a function on downstairs for RSVP.com, one of the 'desperate and dateless' events. i hadn't been to Friday's since 2000 or so, and it was horrible then. a total meat-market. but it has quite possibly improved, and drinks weren't expensive!

then we stumbled up to the Stock Exchange (now that's a meat market) and met up with chris & jess, had a dance on the tightly packed dance floor, drank more, then went back to Fridays. by 1am i was nicely drunk, happy and getting ready for bed. that's what i love about going out (reasonably early)... i can have fun, do evertyhing i want to, and still be in bed and get a good night's sleep, and be able to do stuff the next day.

i can't believe the weekend is over already, and i'm back at work again tomorrow! WAAAAH! i can totally see i'm going to be one of those people who goes so hard on weekends... looking forward to it ALL week, and then go out and splurge!

on a serious note- you'll notice the forums are down.... may they RIP. *takes a moment of silence*..... ahem, well anyway, the forums were on heather's server, and her host went bust last week. so heather is site-less and our forums are wiped forever. i might try and see if i can start up a free forum thingy, just to tide us over, til we can organise something else. so if anyone knows any free forum places, please let me know in the comments. i'll try and get that done today. and i might chuck some photos up from last nite too.

sorry i haven't updated sooner. day #2 is over, and i have to admit i'm really enjoying this job. there is alot to learn- proceedures, ways to do things, ordering plates and dies and such. but this will all (hopefully) come with time...
i did a really stupid thing last night tho.... i came home after my first official day of work, and i really felt like a glass of red wine.. however, one bottle turned into 2... i drank waaaay too quickly and ended up passing out around 10.30pm. i woke up with a horribly queasy stomach and headache. ergh! i was left feeling scattered and seedy all day long. note to self- drink in moderation, or not at all!
i think i'm going to hit the hay really early tonight, because i really need to be on the ball in these first few days. god damn i'm looking forward to the weekend tho! i'm going to go to The Depot.... this guy offered me VIP membership there, after visiting my website, so i really should get out and enjoy it. i've wanted to check it for ages, but never got around to it. "Dance to guitars" it says on the site.... i dont know if i have many brisbane readers, but has anyone check it out? if so, let me know what you think.

wow, ok, where to start..... i had nearly 48 hours with no electricity, and what an experience that was. when i went for my massage on friday, it looked like it was going to rain. during the 2 hours i was in there, there was suposedly this MASSIVE storm. roofs were ripped off and damaged, heaps of shit happened. i heard heaps of thunder, but by the time i was done, it had passed. however, when i got home, i discovered there was no power... the whole grid was done, including traffic lights. my dad and sister arrived for the weekend, but because of the lack of power, we had to do everything by candle light. on saturday we got out of the house early in the morning, and headed to the city to enjoy the airconditioning in the mall. we went and saw Big Fish and i cried my eyes out! it was such a beautiful film. once the sun set, we showered by candle light and then headed out for dinner and drinks afterwards. i actually enjoyed the fact that we had to get out and do stuff together, rather than just sit on the couch and watch movies or tv. i had borrowed board games from rachel, for something to do but we had such a good time out at dinner and drinks that we didn't get home til really late, and i was pooped! i've been trying to go to bed before middnight and get up about 7am every morning in practice for monday! argh! i'm kinda nervous, starting FULL TIME work! eeeek! i'll be sure to write about it tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

my sister is wanting to sell her car and she hasn't had too many interested buyers in bundy, so i thought i'd try to advertise it on here, and hope that a few ppl from brisbane just happen to read my site.

so yea, anyone from brisbane or from queensland, if you are interested in a car.... tada!!!!! i can provide bigger photos to anyone who's interested.
