who is rhiannon?

Growing up in a small town, I have a very laid back mentality to life and everything. However, I've always had a city slicker attitude buried down inside. I'm now living out of home and in Brisbane, Australia (which is the capital of Queensland). But dont be fooled- Brisbane is a big city with a small town mentality, which is perfect for me.... at the moment. I still have hopes and dreams of eventually moving to a big city... Sydney, Melbourne, New York, Bangkok etc..

I graduated from university at the end of 2003, after 4 fun, but long years as a student. I was tired of the poor student lifestyle by this stage - sick of never have enough money, drinking cheap alcohol, working casual jobs. I landed a job in Feb 2004 as a graphic designer, which lasted until August 2004. I changed jobs at this point and started working in web design/traffic at DBS, and I'm still there.

I'm really content with my life at the moment. The job is great, the company is awesome. It was here I met David, and after nearly a year of working together, we finally started dating. He is to blame for my declining interest in my website - I seem to lose the motivation to blog when I'm happy, and with him I really am happy.

Why do i have a website? well i dont know, it just happened and i've kept it going for over 5 years now. I guess i like the thought of random people around the world reading my inner most thoughts and being afffected by them, somehow... even if they just think, "oh yea, i know that feeling", or "wow, this girl is so different from me", they've been affected by it in the slightest way. I am addicted to alot of personal sites, i love reading other people's thoughts and feelings, i like the voyueristic nature of personal websites.

NAME: My real name is Rhiannon, however some people online still know me as "Livian"- Why Livian? When I first started getting on the net, I used to hang out in alot of chat rooms etc with Rhiannon from rhitard.com. since she was already known by everyone as Rhiannon, I called myself Livian to save confusion.

LIVES: Brisbane, Australia

OCCUPATION: I studied Communication Design- which is basically Web Design/ Graphic Design. Currently, I'm working in web design/traffic at DBS.

RELATIONSHIP STATUS: OCTOBER 2007 - It's been over 2 years and still going strong.

HEIGHT: 163cm or about 5'3 i think

WEIGHT: 56 kg or 123 lbs- Still trying to battle the mid-20's spread by hitting the gym a couple of times a week.

EYE COLOUR: Brown, with flecks of green. They appear more green when I've been crying.

HAIR COLOUR: dyed. As of OCT 2007 its dark brown with reddish bits. Trying to grow it out after years of short hair.

FAVOURITE FOODS: Cans of tuna, burritos, all thai food but especially Lad Nah, Som Tum, Massaman curry, Pad Thai etc, mango, avocado, hot chips & gravy, mud crab, prawns, soft cheeses (brie, camambert, blue castello).

FAVOURITE DRINKS: water, tea (earl grey), apple juice, RED WINE, most vodka drinks, bacardi, malibu and pineapple juice, lemon squash.

SIGNATURE SMELL: Angel by Thierry Mugler.

MUSIC: The Beatles, Tegan & Sara, Eisley, Pilot Speed, CSS, The Magic Numbers, Bloc Party, Hot Hot Heat, Marla Sokoloff, The Faint, The Shins, Brassy, RENT (musical), Skunk Anansie, Cibo Matto, Rachael Yamagata, David Bowie, Billy Joel.

WHAT DOES MUNTEDMESS MEAN? well munted was a word a friend and I started using a number of years ago. I dont know how it came to be in our vocabulary, it just appeared. we used it to describe someone very fucked up/drunk/on drugs. and at the time of registering a domain, I felt I was just that, a munted mess.
I quote this off a site featuring the word munted: "NOTE: If you are one of the unlucky people who DOESN'T know what the word "Munted" means (Shame on you :P ), it essentially means "Screwed Up". I strongly suggest you use this word more!"
