my flight is 8pm tonight, but we'll be heading out to the airport about 6pm... which is only 5 hours away!!! EEEEK!

Mum is on her way and she's going to cut and dye my hair before I leave, and will take me out to the airport. I've unpacked and repacked my bag a few times, I'm still trying to make my bag lighter, but its not really happening.

I feel nervous and excited and a little bit hungover from too many drinks last night and not enough sleep. I guess it will help me sleep tonight on the plane.

not sure if I'll be updating much when I'm away. I hope everyone has a merry christmas and great new year!!!

The boy and I are both thrilled to be having 5-6 weeks with no computers.
My interest in the internet has been waning lately, so I think this time away is exactly what I need.

Of course, I'll probably be having email withdrawals after the first day and I'll no doubt end up checking my mail once every few days, or once a week at an internet cafe. And when I get back I'll definitely be sharing my photos, but actually taking the laptop with me is just too much hassle. I dont need extra luggage to haul around with me, as my bag will already be full of clothes and toiletries. heheh

Because I knew I wouldn't be taking the computer with me, I recently bought a 2Gig memory stick for my camera, so on top of the 256mb one, I should have plenty of room for photo storage.

I was pleased to hear today that Five (or 5ive) are wanting to reform!!!! woot, I secretly love this boyband. One of my guilty little pleasures, like my love for the Spice Girls.

However, there's a slight problem.... there's only 4 of them now. They've ditched one of the useless guys who decorated the background, and they're now a four piece.

Does that make them 4our??

Turns out the one who left the band is off making a name for himself as a solo artist... Here's hoping it doesn't go the way of Take That, with Sean Conlon becoming the next Robbie Williams and becoming bigger than the band he left.

I seriously doubt it though.

Speaking of former boyband members- I'm missing out on attending the Robbie concert in December due to my upcoming trip. Of course a trip overseas totally beats the pants off a concert... however I would have absolutely loved to see Robbie Williams live. of course its middle of summer and its going to be sweltering hot, and I'm just such a whinger about heat and crowds. I kept reminding myself of that when I think of the concert I'm missing.


So how has everyone been? I've been pretty darn super except for the few emo moments, and lack of communication and socialising with friends. But noone seems to be missing my company so trying not to care so much. Oops almost went emo again.

Less than 2 weeks to go until I'm off on this trip. I borrowed a great bag/backpack/wheely bag combo thing from a girl at work and its been sitting on my floor, pretty much completely packed for 2 weeks. hehehe Everyone thinks I'm a complete nutter for having packed so early, but I just want to be prepared.

As soon I decided to go on this trip, I drew up a packing list which i've been slowly editting and cutting items out of, so hopefully I won't make my usual mistake of over-packing something fierce.

We've booked all the hotels/hostels for London, Paris, Rome and Prague, as well as bought tickets to see Wicked. We weren't able to get good tickets for Spamalot on the nights we're available but I'm still looking into ebay options.
ok off to bed, but I'm going to try and update again soon.... meh who am I kidding? I say this everytime but it never happes. ;)
