WOOT just came home from Trivia night. We came second!!!!! And there was only 3 of us, we're so going to kick ass next time if more people come.We won- a bottle of wine (me), a 6 pack of beer (cindy) and a hat (david), something for everyone!!
Indy on the weekend was surprisingly alot of fun. Mind you, I didn't go down to the track at all- just stayed up on our 16th floor balcony and watched from up there. but the noise of the cars and the atmosphere was awesome. and typical Gold Coast- there was so much flesh. I felt so covered up everywhere we went. It was all mini skirts, bikini's and tanned skin. Guys running around in nothing but boardies (edit - boardies are aussie slang for Board shorts - Surf wear shorts). I've got some photos but haven't taken them off my camera yet.
I felt pretty rotten coming home on Monday- we started drinking as soon as I arrived at lunch time friday and started drinking about 11am saturday and sunday. so by monday it had all caught up to me.
it was awesome to hang out with mum.... and sad to say goodbye. but less than 9 weeks til xmas now! i can't wait to go home to bundy. mum's friends who lives across the road (right on the golf course) are hosting xmas this year. All their family is coming for xmas lunch etc, and we'll be joining them. Mum and her friends, Greg and Sherry always go to such efforts when entertaining, so now doubt their will be copious amounts of seafood, alcohol, games of botchi and even Sing Star in their kick ass lounge room (as we're bringing SingStar with us to play on the playstation). I never thought my mum was into Karaoke but she told me her and Sherry often get up at their local pub (only after many many drinks) hehehe.

I guess they are called board shorts coz surfers would wear them when riding on their surf boards.

i do know the lady you're talking about, but her name is Kerry (THAT hair salon, down from target). my mum (who owns Klippers for Men in Targo street) is friends with Kerry as well.
