2 sleeps and counting......

two more sleeps til sydney and the excitment is rising. today has been a bit of a taste of the weather we could expect in sydney....its freaking COLD! my body just can't cope with this kind of weather. i'm definately taking scarves and big jackets and thick socks and boots so hopefully i wont freeze too badly.

i'm a bit frustrated at having to miss out on a bunch of cool things this weekend- The Bravery concert, a Douglas Fir gig, a certain someone's birthday bbq etc, but then i remember i'm going to sydney with my best friend who i've never really gone on holidays with (going home to bundy doesn't count!) and going to see my absolute favourite band for only the second time in my life. so i guess i've gotta take the bad with the awesome good.

the plan so far- early morning flight, arrive in sydney, shuttle bus to the backpackers to drop off our bags and stuff, then head into the city for shopping and possibly checking out the markets at the Rocks.

Apart from that and the gig on Tuesday night, we really don't have any other plans. there will hopefully be a day of slightly touristy, sight-seeing with the help of davo (here's hoping we get to see more than just the inside of a pub, but then again, what else are holidays for? hehehe)

if anyone from sydney reads my site, let me know what you recommend we do- we're there from sunday ti wednesday and will be staying in Kings Cross.

oh god, the weather widget says its currently 10 degrees (celcius) in brisbane. jesus christ that's cold. we've had a really mild winter up until now. this is by far the coldest day in AGES. I just flipped over to Sydney's current weather and altho its sunny, its only 13 degrees. ARGH!

The german pub Lowenbrau in the Rocks does awesome food. A bit pricey, but the Deutsch grub is good to the power of 10.

When I'm down there I allways make my way to Galaxy Bookshop this little sci-fi bookshop in the middle of town. I love it! But I'm an ubergeek so I'm not sure it will be your cup of tea.
Climbing the bridge is awesome but it's quite exspensive and we needed to be up really early in the morning.
Most importantly I've done some of my best Op-Shopping in sydney. You know that awesome grey coat I have? Cheap as chips in Sydney!

10 degrees is the lowest in a long time? Is that Celsius or Fahrenheit?

I'd say the coldest day in Ottawa in recent months was about -40 Celcius...

That does it. I wanna move to Australia for sure now!

    Current Price $0.036
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Is this an undiscovered gem priced to go higher!!
Please read the following Announcement in its Entirety and Consider the Possibilities
    Watch this One to Trade!

IFLH announces Senator David Cain has joined its Board of Directors!!

IFLH volume trading is beginning to surge with landslide Announcement. The value of this
stock appears poised for growth! This one should not remain on the ground floor for long.

    BREAKING NEWS!!
InterFinancial Holdings, Corp. (OTC Pink Sheets: IFLH - News) announced that they have added
David Cain to their board of directors. David Cain is currently the Chairman of the advisory
board to TTI (Texas Transportation Institute). Senator Cain represented Senate District 2 for
eight years in the Texas Senate and Chaired the Senate State Affairs Subcommittee on
Transportation and served nine terms in the Texas House of Representatives for District 107.

During his twelve years as Chairman of the House Committee on Transportation, Senator Cains
efforts on behalf of the people of Texas have been widely recognized. He was named to Texas
Monthly Magazines list of Ten Best Legislators, the Dallas Morning News said he was one of
the outstanding legislators of the 73rd session, and the Texas Department of Transportation
awarded him the Russell H. Perry Award in 1995 for his efforts to gain public awareness of
the need for and benefits of transportation facilities in the State of Texas.

Jeffrey C. Bruteyn, Managing Director, stated, We at InterFinancial are proud to have such a
widely recognized Senator join our board and oversee out automotive lending division. His
affiliations and connections to the automotive industry will be invaluable to our company.
Senator Cain will be instrumental in expediting our approval to use a government issued Seller
    Finance License.

Seller Finance Licenses are very difficult to obtain and are usually reserved for the Big Boys
with heavy lobbyists. These licenses are highly coveted because it allows the finance company
to collect the entire down payment, instead of paying a portion of it to the taxing authority.
This dramatically helps a finance companys bottom line if the buyer defaults on the loan.

With the new GPS tracking systems being installed on every car to dramatically improve
repossessions and with Senator Cain on the Board of Directors, InterFinancial Holdings
is ready to take their business to the next level.

    Conclusion:

The examples above show the Awesome, Earning Potential of little known Companies
That Explode onto Investors Radar Screens. This stock will not be a Secret for long.

If you're in Kings Cross I recommend visiting the Kings Cross Hotel if only to bash the bouncer that threw me out and banned me.

I'm packing my bags for Australia, too! No more winter days where the high temperature doesn't get above zero F? I'm there!

Tangent: For some reason this makes me think of the promotion at McDonald's during the winter where you can get a Big Mac for whatever the high temperature is that day. For example, if the high temperature is 5 degrees Fahrenheit (-15 Celcius), you get a Big Mac for 5 cents. Now I really want a Big Mac.
