avatar-y goodness. or 'why is my face so mong?'
thanks to lizzie for this time waster. i have spent hours making avatars/cartoon versions of everyone i know. rach was the first and the easiest. something about her face so easily translates into cartoon form. the cute little heart shaped face, pixie like. the big blue eyes, the little features, the distinctive hair cut. even my cousin cindy turned out really well. however, mine didn't. i had so much trouble with my face. maybe because it is mine, that i struggled so much. maybe the fact that the closest hair cut i found was actually on a boys face. maybe my face is just really mong. i dont know.
but much cutting and pasting in photoshop later, this is the best i could do.

so yea, that was my sunday night. as well as chatting with the cool flatmates, drinking wine, chatting online etc. today we cleaned, watched some buffy, went shopping, drank tea and coffee and perved on the hot italian boys at the patisserie.
tomorrow is the evil bitch day from hell, ie valentines day. the one day where the whole world rubs in my face that i couldn't make my relationship work and that every night i sleep alone. not that i'm bitter or anything. heh.
so if you're a happy couple in love, and you are planning a sweet, lovely, romantic day with your loved one, i hope you fall over and crack your skull open and your brains gush out everywhere. or a chef jerks off and spills his man juice into your delicious, romantic dinner. or a homeless man steals your money while you're too busy grossing all of us single people out by sucking face with your loved one IN PUBLIC.
not that i'm bitter or anything.

In the last 10 years, this is the first valentines day i have had a partner as i usually somehow am single around this time of year, so i know what ya goin thru.
Its hard but if you treat as monday, the start of the week you should do fine!
As for the pics, they look cool. I went and attempted one but bleh it was shit.

I tried it too. Funny twist in that the closest "head" I could find for mine was a female head (although the hair didn't have any realistic options). See, my head is round. All the male heads are square in that thing.
So the one I eventually made doesn't look much like me. Although it is a more IDEAl version of me, meaning I wish i didn't have this big round melon of a head. I wish I had a square jaw! Hell, I wish I had a jaw.

Yeha..it's the nose thats way off. You got this big New YORK Jew nose thing and your avatar has this little tiny button nose. Switch to a bigger, sharper nose and it will be real close.

that thing pissed me off cuz the closest i got to myself was a blue eyed red head. i wish you could change the eye color & hair color. that reminds me of those roxy doll things i used to make...those were cool! they had sooo many choices on hair & clothes & shit.
dude it sucks that it's a monday, too. mondays suck period. oh well, at least i wont have to see a lot of people. i'm gonna be my valentine, though. cook dinner for myself, light candles, (no flowers, though...too expensive) & then see if i can get lucky. too bad i can't give myself a massage. porn will do.
& then i'm gonna gush about how awesome my valentine was & how i had such a special night. alright, i got a half hour to plan my day!

hahahah um, rhi, you can change the hair and eye colour. and the skin colour. click on eyes (or whatever it is in german) then click fabre or something. that's colour.
and anonymous- unfortunately the cartoon's noses aren't from the side angle, therefore its hard to make the nose look bigger when its just one little horizontal squiggle. can you do better?
