why, oh fucking why, would the Buffy/Angel Convention in melbourne and the Slayercon 2005 in Adelaide be held on the same weekend in july? In what fucked up universe does that make sense? HELLO, buffy fanatics would go to both, so both events could make double their takings if they were held on seperate weekends.

so far, the Buffy/Angel convention only has James Marsters (only?), while Slayercon 2005 has Fred (Amy Acker), Darla (Julie Benz), Glory (Clare Kramer), Kennedy (Iyari Limon), the Groosalugg (Mark Lutz) and Camden Toy (played several evil characters). but SPIKE!!!! argh argh argh, what do I do? GOD DAMNIT *shakes fist at the sky*

Went to Melbourne once. I think Swanston St is somewhere near the city centre. Don't quote me on that. I was only there 3 days and I was drunk a lot.

yeah swanston st is definitely in the city. i wouldn't go to the adelaide one, purely because adelaide is a shithole.

Hi Fi Bar is in Swanston street that is correct and its opposite the Town hall - so basically in the heart of the city. Near the corner of Collins and Swanston

you know i some times have the same schegual problem between car, truck and computer expo shows. and as always they have to be on aposite end of the city or two cities so what i do is see what event happens at what time were and try to hit them all in the same weekend (but i think it is easier for me cause i got a car) but i tottly know what stress you have with the buffy/angle shows... good luck - have fun and try not to get to drunk...
